Saving people from melanoma
one patient at a time
It only takes one.
One weird mole. Has it changed? You’re not sure when or why. There is a solution to the anxiety and worry that you have about your skin and your risk for melanoma. For physicians, there is the satisfaction of knowing you have recommended a helpful tool to your at-risk patients that engages them in checking their skin on a regular basis.
MoleMapCD® technology is a standardized digital map—36 images in all—of the body’s skin surface. Both patients and physicians can use MoleMapCD as a baseline system for the early detection of melanoma, but it is not a replacement for physician exams.
Melanoma is one of the most troubling forms of cancer. Highly deadly, it is also curable. Most melanomas are found during visual exams, but visual exams are challenging. Existing moles change. New ones appear. Until now, there was no accurate, standardized way to identify such changes.
MoleMapCD provides that baseline, visual record of the skin, which physicians and patients can use to check for changes that may indicate melanoma.
